Abby Elliott

Abby Elliott, born June 16 1987, is an American comedian and actress. She was a Saturday Night Live cast member from 2008 to 2012. In the years since, she been a part of the Bravo comedy Odd Mom Out as well as the NBC sitcom Indebted. She is the daughter of actor/comedian Chris Elliott. Elliott was born in New York City as the younger of her two kids. She is the daughter of Paula Niedert, a talent coordinator, and Chris Elliott, an actor/comedian. Her grandfather was a radio comedy Bob Elliott. Her younger sister is an actress Bridey Elliott. They both were raised in Wilton, Connecticut. She attended high school in Immaculate High School in Danbury, Connecticut, where she performed in school plays as well as musicals. After graduating Immaculate High School in 2005 she enrolled at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City but she dropped out in her first semester. Elliott also dated Fred Armisen in the year 2010. Their relationship ended in September of 2011. Elliott was married to Bill Kennedy, a TV writer, on September 3, 2016. They have a daughter, Edith Pepper Kennedy. Elliott learned about comedy at The Groundlings, and then began performing and training for various sketch comedy shows at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB), Los Angeles.
